On 10th December 2005 the opening of new line 2 to Obergnigl via the former motorbus - route 27 will be celebrated. From 11th December 2005 line 2 will run from Walserfeld via Airport - Maxglan - Lehen - Hauptbahnhof - Mirabellplatz - Sterneckstraße to Obergnigl.

On 8th December there was a training ride with 220 -former MVG 25 -via the new line.
